We Will Miss You So Much!

We are all saddened by the loss of one of our members.  He was a wonderful young man and friend.  The following are remembrances from Josh's friends.  He will be sorely missed!

Life is like a car on a winding road. It is exciting to find what's around the corner. Like a waterfall or as herd of deer, but it is also scary because you never know what's coming back at you. Like a grouchy bear, but it can also be sad like the death of a family member, friend, or loved one. Josh was an awesome friend, loved one, and drummer in the band to everyone. His smile always brought joy to everyone who saw it. Even if he was down you couldn't tell because he'd always smile. I keeping telling everybody that you would never think that it would happen to this school and to someone like Josh, but if you think about it Josh and PAMS was better than any other school. Like if it would happen to another school to another student that school would be in a depression for a while. What I am trying to say is that like someone choose our school to go through this because they knew that we could get through it. I am not trying to say that it is good thing that Josh passed away, I am saying that this school is strong enough that we can get through anything. I know that Josh would love to be here with us and love to see us happy,  but he is in a better place but still wants us to be happy. Rest in peace Josh rest in peace.

The first time I met Josh was the first week of summer. It was at Princess Anne Recreation center. Josh was a good friend and student. Whenever we were bored he found something to do. He had a good sense of humor and always made people laugh no matter what the situation was. He had many friends who also know that he was a good friend. Josh was a very good drummer. He never complained and he never made fun of anyone. Joshua S. was a good kid and he didn't deserve to pass away at such a young age. We all miss him greatly and we hope that he is having an even better afterlife up in heaven.

This is hard time for me but I know it is harder for you .  I hope your family doesn’t take this to hard.  He was like a best friend to me.  He helped me learn the songs and he told me how to do the cadence.   He also taught me everything I know about instruments and about all of the materials you need to fix drums or other band instruments.  I think I’m the 6th grader in the band that he had the most fun with.  I had just seen him on Tuesday afternoon when we had a drum line practice.  We even rode the same bus home.  He was laughing and having a lot of fun with me while we were waiting for the bus.  I hope the grieving process is not to hard on your family.  I know you loved Josh with all of your heart and I will tell you he was like a brother to me.

By the way my name is Alfreda P.

The best is yet to come.

Josh was not just a band member he was also a friend.  He was the kind of person that would always greet you with and smile on his face. Josh was really kind and never would say anything bad or negative about anyone else. He was never causing problems in school or in life. If someone was talking about him it would never be a bad remark, it would always be a complement. He was also a greater band member. I will always look up and admire him both as a friend and a percussionist.

Josh was a cool kid.  He played drums and had lots of friends.  Josh helped win 1st Place in Busch Gardens.  He did not like rides but he watched.  Not everyone knew him, but he was kind, caring, and awesome.  Everyone was changed when they found out what happened and it hurt the people who knew him more, but we WILL MISS HIM VERY MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To the Parents of Josh, Hi, I’m Kyra C., an 8th grade student at PAMS.  I’m very sorry for your loss.  Josh was an Ahhhmazin’ person,  I know its kind of hard to think about the positives, but there is one.  Josh is in HEAVEN.  This means he is in a safer place, safer than here.  If you really sit back and think about it, your own son has become your personal Guardian Angel.  Now that is some cool stuff right there.  Knowing that your son watches over you and keeps you safe!  I’ve had a lot of deaths in my family, but I sit back and always ask God ”why someone that was important to me had to leave this world?”  Every time I get the same answer, he says.  “It was time for that person to come get their reward.  Now they can be in a very safe place with me.”  So Josh got his reward.  A very good one at that.  So just remember after all this is over, and you just start to think about him just remember he’s your Guardian Angel, and he’ll never leave you side.  (R.I. Paradise Josh)

Dear Seutter Family,  Your son Josh was a very great and enjoyable person to be around.  Josh had always put a smile on my face and made me laugh.  The thing I cherished most about your son was that he would talk to anyone and would be friends with anyone, that’s a rare kind of personality anyone would have,  Josh was the best percussionist I had ever seen before, he always make my eyes glow big when I saw him beating his drumsticks.  I just wanted you to know how big of an impact he made on the band and the world.  I give best wishes to your family, and I’ll probably pray for him and you every day.  Josh was the greatest guy to have met and been friends with.

With love, Kelcie E.
