District Band Information SATURDAY, DECEMBER 10TH, 2011
PRINCESS ANNE MIDDLE SCHOOL
(Junior Woodwinds, Brass, and Percussion) Students should arrive in time to register at
the time indicated for their instrument. Registration will be held
in the GYM, adjacent to the left parking lot at Princess Anne
Middle. The waiting area will be in the CAFETERIA.
Refreshments/concessions will be available for purchase. Sections with large numbers of students
auditioning are divided into smaller groups by last name.
Students should begin registration at the time indicated.
Registration for each instrument or alphabet section will close 30
minutes after the assigned reporting time or when the next
instrument is scheduled to begin registering- whichever time is
earlier. Students may not register prior to their
assigned time unless auditions are ahead of schedule. FLUTE A-D 8:30 E-L 9:30 M-Z 10:30 Bb CLARINET A-C 8:30 D-K 9:30 L-S 10:30 T-Z 11:30 OBOE

the students who pre-registered will actually show up to audition.
Therefore, there may be a large gap between when you register and when
you are called to the warm-up room. Bring something to read or study in
the waiting area and plan to spend several hours in the audition
procedure! Need Help for All-District Band Auditions Dec 10th If you are able to help please let me know- this is a HUGE event for us and I need a lot of parents. Need 10 parents to help with Registration, can come in shifts- The whole process is from 8:00 to 12. With most of them stopping at 11:00. I will send a copy of what last year was at the bottom to give you an idea-remember this was last years not this year. 4 parents for concessions.- Could work in 2 hour 1/5 shifts. (2 at a time) 8-10:30 and 10-12:30. Should end by 1:00. 3 Parents to help with PAMS students running the people auditioning and keeping them on task to make sure everything runs smoothly. Making sure the people that audition from other schools know where to go back to-"cafeteria". 1 parent- to make sure judges are fed and have something to drink-water. (Are Happy) :-) Last year we got subs from the Butcher shop down the road. If anyone knows of someone that could help out with subs in a cheap way let me know.
